Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand plans can change. This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds work for bookings made with Hollywood Dreams – Banquet Hall & Events. It applies to bookings confirmed via advance payment and/or written confirmation from our team.

1. Booking Confirmation

  • A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of the advance/deposit and our written acknowledgement (email/receipt/contract).
  • Provisional holds without timely advance payment may be released without notice.

2. Cancellation Window & Refund Slabs

If you cancel a confirmed booking, refunds are based on when we receive your written cancellation request:

  • 30 days or more before event date: 80% of the advance will be refunded.
  • 15–29 days before event date: 50% of the advance will be refunded.
  • Less than 15 days before event date: No refund of the advance.

Note: Any government taxes, payment gateway charges, or bank fees already incurred are non-refundable.

3. Rescheduling Policy

  • You may request to reschedule your event at least 15 days prior to the event date, subject to availability.
  • One reschedule per booking is generally permitted without additional charges; subsequent changes may attract an admin fee.
  • If the new date falls in a higher tariff period or includes add-ons, the price difference will apply.

4. Non-Refundable Items

  • Special customizations and third-party vendor advances (e.g., bespoke décor, artists, specialty catering) once committed.
  • Permits/licenses obtained specifically for your event.
  • Any rush/expedite charges.

5. No-Show & Partial Cancellations

  • No-show on the event date is treated as a last-minute cancellation with no refund.
  • Partial cancellations (dropping individual services) after confirmation may not reduce the package price; adjustments are at management’s discretion.

6. How to Request a Cancellation/Refund

To cancel or request a refund, please email us from your registered email ID with booking details:

  • Booking name, event date, and contact number
  • Payment reference/receipt
  • Reason for cancellation

7. Refund Timelines & Method

  • Eligible refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after approval.
  • Processing time by banks/payment gateways is outside our control.
  • We do not provide cash refunds for online payments.

8. Force Majeure

In case of events beyond reasonable control (natural disasters, government restrictions, public health emergencies, strikes, or other force majeure), we may offer rescheduling or a partial refund/credit at management discretion. Documentation may be required. Our decision will consider venue availability, vendor commitments, and regulatory guidance.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the current version. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
